Seriously, since Michael Chabon is the showrunner but doesn’t have that much television experience (although he did write the excellent Discovery Short Trek “Calypso”), I think it depends on a) how good a handle he has on Picard as a character; and b) the quality of writers he gets in the show’s writer’s room. Of course, as Sir Patrick is himself heavily involved in this, I’m optimistic.
