Sunday beer had an unplanned hiatus and it’s now back with a SFFnal that claims it was bottled on Venus. Actually it’s from New Zealand http://garageproject.co.nz/products/vpa
Venusian Pale Ale, a precocious little number using some of the more unusual local flora and fauna you find hanging around here in the less civilized parts of the solar system. Lemon grass, kaffir lime leaf and grapefruit peel that we pinched from rations, meld seamlessly with Venusian Spear Fungus and that funny green stuff the local chappies seem to like licking off the rocks. Zesty is the word that springs to mind and at 7.5% abv it
Quite nice. Didn’t taste overly strong, so watch out as a pint of 7.5 abv may make you a tad dizzy if you drink it too quickly.
Where to spend one’s money? Trump-solicited email donations? Chuck Tingle’s Alternative Fact Warehouse? Or Sunday beer? Comedic Law of Threes says the payoff comes on the third beat.

Camestros. Camestros. Hey, Camestros! Is everything OK?
I’ve typed a sentence already (twice!). CAMESTROS! I need $43,451 by the end of the day.

Easy to confuse Venus and New Zealand: both a long way away and famously cloudy.
