Tim might be trying to decide if the covering is scales or some kind of knitting. One of them, he’s gonna be great at ripping up!

They considered bringing him back for one of the remakes, but he refused when the director called his purple fur “weird and unrealistic” and asked him to dye it black to look more like the original black and white shots.

I believe that scene was right before the one with Tim Kong sleeping blissfully in his bed hugging the dinosaur
