Dragon Awards Reply…

[A bit late posting this]

Dragon Con replied via twitter to my last post on the odd fluctuations on the Dragon Con Awards website. It is an odd sort of explanation – as if people might get confused by a news article clearly from August.

Anyway, I asked about when nominations might open and…no reply…

  1. How bizarre. I’ve never seen a website just remove one of its historic press releases like that — and especially one which seemed to be pretty innocuous.

    1. I can’t make hide nor hair of it. When I first saw the change, I assumed it was an accident – perhaps in the lead up to a revamp of the blog or maybe somebody hit the wrong button when trying to make a new announcement. However, it seems to have been intentional and for the purpose of removing information about when the awards ceremony took place.

  2. @Paul: I can’t imagine at this stage that the Dragon awards are ever going to supplant the awards that exist solely in my head.
