Eric Trump Writes Again – He’s confused

Actually got a whole pile of Trump emails after very none yesterday.

We need your help.

We’re launching an ad to fight back against Hillary’s disgusting comments made at a closed-door fundraiser Friday night.

She called tens of millions of hard-working Americans “deplorable” people who don’t belong in her America.”

Oh I see…

“Who exactly was Hillary talking about when she made these despicable comments?

The coal miners she vows to put out of business, the veterans dying while waiting for treatment, the police officers concerned about rising crime, the American citizens worried about an uncontrolled border, the workers who haven’t seen a raise in years…

And what about the former and active duty military members who strongly support my father over Hillary? Are they “deplorable”?

Thanks for asking me this question Eric. I think you raise some interesting points. Who exactly was Hillary talking about?

Here is what she said:

“You know, just to be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable. But thankfully they are not America.”

So not generically coal-miners or soldiers or police officers and not even Trump supporters in general.

Trump’s support according to averages of polls is about 40% currently. Half of that is 20%, so Clinton was saying about one-fifth of the US has deplorable views on racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia and Islamaphobia. I don’t know if that figure is correct but it is notable that the characterisation does seem to apply to an IMPORTANT set of pro-Trump people. Specifically Donald Trump himself.

I think that is the kind of person she was talking about.

Hope that clarifies thinks for you.

“The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it.”

She means me. Conservative voter. Being a non-DemocRat = Deplorable. I’m inclined to take offense, but I don’t live there anymore and never voted, so I’ll sit back with my bowl of popcorn and watch her batteries run down. I tried hard to feel for her when they poured her into the van on Sunday. You know, when she was Powering Through her ‘pneumonia,’ right? But Benghazi, so no.

And y’know, anytime a politician decides to take a section of their own electorate, about 25% of it, and make them the boogie man? That’s a pretty big warning flag. You don’t want to see that in your country, usually.

Trump gasses off about -illegals- all the time, and that’s of some concern to be sure. Building a wall is one thing, capturing and shipping 57 million illegal people is something else. You don’t want to be around when that’s going on. But it has been done before, see WWII and the Japanese in Canada, the Partition of India, etc. He’s not talking about mass deportation, that I’ve heard. He’s talking about a functional border and reasonable social programs, such as circa 1972. Such a racist!

I’d be in favor of a wall and stopping welfare for illegals, were I an American. Those are reasonable steps to protect your own country. Its what we do in Canada, right? You want to come to Canada, you fill out the papers. You sneak in and steal Welfare in Canada, we send your ass home after you rot in jail for a while. So racist, those Canadians!

Not to mention it would be cutting down on the corpses of women and children getting picked over by vultures in the Southwest desert. That’s a big thing nobody talks about. They figure about 100 a month don’t make it in the summer time. Maybe 50 a month in the winter. Harsh desert, human smugglers are scum, bad combination. Then there’s the whole rape thing… and tuberculosis, and a few other choice diseases… Wow, controlled border, so racist!

My problem with Trump is, I think he won’t do that. He’ll just screw around, like Harper did here for eight years.

Hillary, by contrast, is targeting Americans as “deplorables” over ideology. Like, chuck them in camps deplorables, Soviet style. That’s kinda bad. That could get ugly in a hurry. But not racist, because they’re WHITE deplorables, right?

Even better, I’m a “deplorable” because I dared mention the little kid corpses out by Nogales AZ. So many corpses that they have to rent a freezer in Tucson for the unclaimed bodies, currently stacked like fence posts. Which oddly is -never- on CNN. Local papers only. Thank you, Internet.

That’s going to go well, right? Question public policy, get labeled a deplorable. Particularly given the new record for gun sales every year for the last eight years. Yep, great plan there Hillary.

On the bright side, she’ll probably blow a valve in the next three weeks if she didn’t on Sunday. There’s a picture of a woman giving Hillary a neurological exam on the sidewalk up at Drudge right now. So who is this Kain guy, anyway?

Well being rude about a section of the population is something Stalin but it is hardly something specific to him. It is something many politicians have done, Romney, Obama, Palin, Trump, Trump, Trump again, also Trump, Boris Johnson, Tony Blair, Trump, Paul Keating, and many more.

Are you suggesting that racists, misogynists, xenophobes, and bigots are not in and of themselves “deplorable”?

Also: by this logic, as long as you have some vague similarity to any bad person in history, you’re just like that bad person. In which case, we’re basically all screwed, because everyone has some vague similarity to some bad person. I’m white, so I’m just like Hitler. I don’t like racists, so I must be like that dude who went out and killed white people cause he didn’t like racists either. I once wore a hat, so I’m just like Stalin.

Yes, I’m being facetious, because I find loose comparisons to dictators and other brands of “deplorables” to be intellectually vacuous.
