    i’ve found it depends greatly on the cherries, or flavouring thereof. a lot of them seem to use a very artificial cherry flavour, making for an experience not unlike drinking Haribo.

    my favourites are probably the cherry (kriek) lambics. Cantillon’s in particular is amazing: a wonderful sourness both from the cherries and the underlying beer. Mort Subite is another rather tasty one, less uncompromising and perhaps a bit easier to get hold of Down Under?
